Residents Smyrna New Homes Near Silver Comet Trail

I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but the weather has been A-M-A-Z-I-N-G lately, prompting many residents of the Smyrna new homes at Stonehaven in Vinings to get out and hit the Silver Comet Trail. The trail is a fantastic outdoor destination for those who enjoy walking, biking, hiking, rollerblading and even taking your pup for a stroll.

There are many health benefits to getting out and exercising this spring such as shedding your extra winter pounds, improving your mood, lowering your blood pressure and helping you stay strong and fit for years to come. And, although walking is a low-impact activity, you should still take a few minutes to prepare before starting out on the Silver Comet Trail.

Warm Up those Muscles: Take a few minutes to walk slowly to warm up your muscles before walking or any other type of physical activity. After you’re nice and warm you can increase your speed.

Stretch it Out: When your muscles are warm, take a moment to do some stretches to prevent injuries. Walking first will help your muscles get ready for the stretch.

Slow Down and Cool Down: If you got up to a brisk speed during your walk, then take a few minutes to cool down. Just like when you were warming up, walk slowly for about five minutes to reduce any stress that your physical activity may have caused. Then, stretch again.

Those who are interested in living near wonderful outdoor venues like the Silver Comet Trail should visit Traton Homes’ Stonehaven community. Stonehaven at Vinings is an intimate enclave of only 69 homes, and now only six homes remain.
