Active Adult Brunch Club Provides Holiday Meal for Those in Need

Cumming active adult community
While many of us love spending time with friends and family during the holidays enjoying a delicious meal and exchanging a few presents, there are others in the local community who are not as fortunate. Recently, resident members of the brunch club at The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm in Forsyth County collected donations to help needy families in their community.

The brunch club was able to collect more than $150 in gift certificates, seven cartons of food and two gift baskets, which they donated to Saint Benedict Church in Johns Creek. The church then distributed those items to families in need, so that they could enjoy a Thanksgiving meal together.

The brunch club isn't the only social club at this Cumming active adult community to give back, many of Brannon Oak Farm's other social clubs and interest groups not only get together to fellowship, but to also use their talents to benefit the community at large.

In addition to a variety of clubs, residents at The Orchards of Brannon Oak Farm benefit from a stellar amenities package and fantastic community events. Amenities available to homeowners of the community include a community lawn, barbecue grill, fire pit, swimming pool and grand clubhouse complete with a fitness center and gathering spaces.

Plus, the surrounding area outside the community is filled with top notch healthcare, shops, restaurants, entertainment venues and recreation, including The Collection at Forsyth, Lake Lanier and Northside Hospital.

After a day filled with activities, residents can come home to a spacious residence. The builder, The Orchards Group, offers buyers five unique floor plans to choose from. All of these homes, which are priced from the mid $270,000s, are complete with at least two bedrooms and bathrooms on the main level, as well as included lawn maintenance.
